This is primarily a place for disseminating information and having on-line discussions relevant to the BC Section of Neurology Members. The "Member's Only" section is where you will want to go. In this section is my contact information for any of the section members to reach me. Please keep this to yourselves, as all websites may be stumbled upon by the general public and spam robots, I don’t want the site to become non-useful for us.

Annual General Meeting — March 9, 2018

Once again, we had a great meeting at the Brock House on Point Grey Rd. I’m always surprised more people don’t attend, as we talk about things that are really important to all of us. We have $1,700,000 sitting in MSP, and it is up to us to see how we use it, raises, new fee codes, etc.

Dr. Falconer was unanimously voted in as our new Section President. We have always had trouble finding people to serve as President, primarily as it has been essentially a volunteer position done off the side of people’s desks. We have taken on a new approach to the President’s Role. Please go to our website, to see what we are doing: BCNeurologists.ca

Dr. Hrebicek has agreed to stay on as Past President, and Dr. Vorobeychik is staying on as Secretary-Treasurer. Galina has done as fabulous job as our treasurer, and I am so happy she has agreed to continue. Dr. Rob Carruthers is staying on as a member at large of our executive.

Allocation of Funds

At our AGM, we also discussed at length suggestions on how to allocate the $1,700,000 we have in available MSP annual funding, and where it came from.
